A couple of days ago, I had the distinct pleasure to finally sit down with my newfound friend, Ms. Chikamso Efobi (pronounced Cheek-um-so F-O-B), but you can call her Chika (Cheek-a)!! She is an awesome author from Nigeria, who now resides in the U.K.
We met on my favorite social media platform, Goodreads – if you are an author or an avid book reader and not on Goodreads, get your life! Seriously, I’ve met so many awesome writers on Goodreads. Anyway, I digress.
So Chika, was gracious enough to sit down with me and spill the tea on her latest project, Twisted in a Positive Way. I was one of the beta readers for Twisted in a Positive Way, and I’m so glad I picked it up! I mean, it was the title alone that drew me to the book, but after I sat down and read it (in one sitting by the way, I couldn’t put it down), I was thoroughly impressed with all of the subtle lessons throughout the book!
Well, without further ado, please, check out our interview! And below the video, there are links to where you can find both Chika and her awesome book! Yo, she even has her book in Nigeria!!! So for my Nigerian friends, go to the book store and get this book! (hint: would be an excellent gift for anyone having a hard time dealing with the realities of life!)
How awesome was that huh? I told you she’s pretty fabulous! Her outlook on life and relationships is warming, especially in a world that could be so disingenuous sometimes.
SIDE NOTE: Remember when she mentioned her inspiration from a book called, The War of Art by Steven Pressfield? Yeah, that book gives an awesome insight on what goes on in a creative mind! Let’s us know that we were all created for a purpose and it’s the battle we go through within ourselves to give birth to that purpose. Both Chika and I highly recommend this book for those struggling with their purpose and dreams!
Now, what you’ve all been waiting for after you heard how awesome Chika really is… how can I get my hands on that book??!!
