Tell Your Story

Tell Your Story

Since I published my first book last year, It is Forbidden: The Story of Child Rape Survival,  I’ve met so many people (men and women) who have experienced the same or similar situation as I have! And the most interesting thing is, they’ve never talked about it until I talked about it! Not everyone can be so open and transparent with something as traumatic as being abused; but talking about it is just one way to begin the journey of being free. And in this world today, so many have opted to use social media (especially Facebook) to air their dirty laundry and emotional rollercoaster of a life. I want to create a private forum for those who seriously want to tell their story (whatever story they want to tell), and what they have done to cope and live with it. Names will be changed to protect the identity of all parties; but the stories will be real. I hope someone is blessed to the point where they too can see how their lives can change for the better. It is not impossible; it is not unobtainable; it is not unimaginable; or any other negative thoughts that filled your mind for years. I won’t lie, the journey is hard, tough, painful – but the outcome is far more rewarding! Don’t believe me? I have witnesses (in addition to my own story). Read for yourself :-).
